The Watercolor Society of Houston invited artist, Eric Wiegardt to the monthly meeting.
When I walked in the room this is what I saw on the walls...
He paints very loosely and though his paintings may appear abstract, they are representational.
It took him about an hour or so to show key steps in his watercolor painting process.
I used the time to make a sketch.
Here is the finished painting.
If I had $550 I would have bought it. I'm sure someone did!
Wonderful way to spend a rainy afternoon in Houston.
