Art Quilt for Magazine Submission
When I decide to create something that I am submitting to a magazine for consideration in a future issue, I work differently than when I am creating something for myself. I feel as though the process is less intuitive . I feel limited in some of my choices of materials because there are themes to each submission. However, this can be a good thing because when I am creating art by following someone else's guidelines, I most often discover a technique I might not ordinarily try. In this piece, I dyed muslim with coffee and stenciled letters onto tea bag paper. Can you guess the theme of this art quilt ?
