Nothing like a workshop to get the creative juices flowing again. And how long has it been since I posted any fabric art? Not since the Houston Quilt Show last year... and wasn't that a blast! The talented and ever so sweet Keely Barham came to Houston for workshops and I learned a remarkable technique for using disperse dyes to color fabric and apply transfers. She also gave us tips for attaching our pieces together using wonderful sewing techniques. We worked until way past midnight Saturday night and I finished it at home on Sunday. Can't wait to try more ideas for this fabric art.
