The "chef" and I collaborate on one creative project each year and that is the carving of the Halloween pumpkin. He asks me to draw something on the pumpkin and he sharpens up his industrial strength knives for the task. I ponder the many ways to draw faces or animals on the pumpkin and get out my sharpie for the task. So this year when the deadline approached for our porch pumpkin, I came up with the peace pumpkin idea in a split second. So here you have it... the first politically incorrect pumpkin on the block. Someone send one to the white house this year, will ya?
