I'm finding it difficult to write or visually express what I've been feeling. An exercise that helped came from the book "The Decorated Journal" by Gwen Diehn. (See SUBTRACTING TEXT on pages 82& 83.) Quote: "Instead of laboring to find the perfect way to say something, you simply float along on a sea of words, grabbing those that appeal to you or that seem to advance the meaning you've set to communicate." Here's what my selected words say: people are worried anxiouspowerful forcesbent on our destructionbad news upon us find solaceapart from our cosmic troublesthe very substance of our cosmos is blissonly fear drives away this joyrelease ourselves.

funny thing, i was just flipping through this book yesterday! Creating art is a wonderful way to deal with all that we are feeling; helps sort out our thoughts. You're not alone with your struggle; I am feeling it too. It's as though my feelings are so deep that I feel my art needs to reflect the depth of heartbreak and sadness. I've got the U.S. Open on TV...watching the human spirit battle it out always inspires me! have a good one...and thanks for your kind words...
